Learn Guitar Online 2022

I am still teaching guitar lessons online in 2022. The service remains popular, with many students appreciating the flexibility it gives them. Opting to learn guitar online with me gives you a number of benefits, including:

  • Learning guitar from the comfort of your own home.
  • Less travel time meaning more time for yourself.
  • Location independent – no matter where you are in the world, you can take guitar lessons online with me.

Professional Setup

I use a highly professional setup for my online guitar lessons. This gives my clients the best experience when they choose to learn guitar online with me. Here is a rundown of the equipment I make use of:

High Definition Camera Angles

I use two high definition cameras to provide you with crystal clear images of myself throughout online guitar lessons with me. This means that I can switch seamlessly between my face camera and my close up camera. My close up camera is focused on my hands, so you can really study my right hand and left hand technique close up and imitate my style. A lot of students have commented on how useful this is for them, including those who prefer face to face lessons!

Crystal Clear Audio

When you learn guitar online, you will need to be able to clearly hear my voice. That’s why I use a Blue Yeti microphone, to produce audio on par with my high quality visuals. The Blue Yeti is the microphone of choice for some of the most listened to podcasts in the world, so you can be sure that my instructions to you will be clear and easy to understand! Furthermore, you can be sure that you will hear my guitar really well too. If you are taking acoustic lesssons with me, then the Blue Yeti will reproduce the audio to a high standard. If you are taking electric guitar or bass lessons, then I output the signal directly to you through my Line 6 Helix. This ensures that you hear the guitar exactly as I hear it, and not through a poor quality laptop microphone.

Multiple Screens

In addition to my camera and audio setup, I also make use of multiple screens to show you any notation or tablature throughout the lesson. To achieve this, I make use of the screen sharing feature on Zoom or Teams. This means that I can be clear about any written examples that you need to learn. Below is an example of me making use of two screens during a pre-recorded video lesson:
